About Blue Ridge
Only a 90 minute drive from Atlanta and an easy day’s drive from Florida sits the charming downtown of Blue Ridge, Georgia’s favorite mountain town. The downtown streets are filled with art-centric shops, unique and eclectic product offerings, sweet treats, and a host of new restaurants to satisfy the more discriminating palate.
In addition to your ADV/DS adventure, you can take advantage of some of the best experiences in the area. Kayaking, canoeing, world-class whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River, curated guided hikes on the Appalachian Trail, Trout Adventure Trail, or the Benton Mackaye Trail; mountain biking in the Aska Adventure Area; guided trips to improve your shooting skills (sporting clays) at Noontootla Creek Farms; horseback riding on the ridge-top trail or rent a pontoon boat from the Lake Blue Ridge Marina and experience Georgia’s cleanest lake with over 80% undeveloped shoreline. With Fannin County known as the Trout Capitol of Georgia, you’ll also find plenty of fly-fishing opportunities, guided or not. It’s all good.
Stay at the MXA Basecamp, rent one of the many mountain or river cabins nearby or stay right in Historic Downtown Blue Ridge and walk to the many unique shops and restaurants. Whatever you decide Moto X Adventures will curate a customized ADV/DS experience you’ll never forget.
